Where should I start… We never really liked Halida before, but we fell in love with it after we had them in Pub Viet! And the guys were just the friendliest we’ve met ever, introduced us to a greeaaaat Vietnamese cigs too. Will defo revisit whenever we visit Hanoi See ya’ll soon!
Can't rate the food, didn't eat. Was looking for an early evening pint but the central Old Quarter was extortionate. Pub Viet was perfect, great music playing, served a well kept, cheap pint. Had a 2nd just to make sure. Lovely little back street with a nice breeze. Wasn't too keen on Hanoi until I went to Pub Viet. Thoroughly and enthusiastically recommended. The draught Halida lager ( never seen it before) was fine. 👍🏻
Lovely little pub just a stone’s throw from the main beer street. They have tasty domestic draft beer pints here for about 60,000 vnd, which is fantastic value, as well as a selection of very reasonably-priced craft beers and shots/liquor bottles. You can definitely try a lot of local Vietnamese brews here without breaking the bank! They have a small indoor seating area and also a lot of seats/tables out on the sidewalk. They serve pizza and some other food, but I can’t comment on that as I stopped by here after having a meal elsewhere. Special shout-out to whoever chooses the playlist - a great variety of funk, R&B, blues, and soul music. Highly recommend stopping in for a pint or 3 if you’re in the area!
This is a great little beer bar! This is my first time in Vietnam and I was hoping to check out some local craft beers while I was in Hanoi. I found this bar just around the corner from where I'm staying and their beer list is amazing! They have a great range of Vietnamese craft beers as well as some really nice Belgian beers. The Pasteur Street Jasmine IPA was fantastic and the double IPA was really solid too. They have sport on the TVs too if you're into that and also an upstairs area that has a terrace overlooking the street. They are co-located with a pizza place. I haven't tried the food yet but the dude near me was pretty happy with it. If you're in the old quarter and you're looking for a great beer bar I definitely recommend this place. Definitely not cheap compared to the local places selling lager but you get what you pay for and this place has some really solid beer.
We didn’t order any food but we did enjoy a beer and a glass of wine. The family who runs the pace are super friendly and attentive. We wish we were hungry because the pizza options looked amazing. The beer and wine were very good and the street was a godsend vs the chaos of Ta Dien street. Highly recommend.
