Cool rooftop atmosphere and good drinks, but unfortunately disappointing food. The Tuna Tartare could’ve been good but the fried fish skin was soggy when we got it. I enjoyed the salad which accompanied the Scallop dish but felt that quinoa was an odd pairing to have with scallops - and they forgot to serve us the mango sauce until we had already eaten 2 of 3 scallops. It was obvious that the Carbonara had been sitting for a while based on the sauce partially solidifying on the outside, and the fat from guanciale was not rendered so it was chewy. The Mango sago was decent as it was jellies in condensed milk/coconut milk We enjoyed the drinks. I would recommend coming to Botan for the drinks and atmosphere, but not the food.
