Dal Vostro Hotel & Spa - Hotel in Hanoi

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dal Vostro for 7 nights. This is an older hotel but very clean and well-maintained. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had both a walk- in shower and tub with modern fixtures. Staff is multi-lingual, kind, helpful and responsive. Our small requests for additional coffee packets, help with the TV remote, breaking of larger currency into smaller denominations, directions, etc were all addressed very promptly and with smiles. The breakfast buffet is very nice with both local foods, some "western" options and fresh fruit and yogurt. Very good coffee, too. Besides the buffet options you can also order eggs in a variety of styles and local pho. The chicken pho was delicious! Do note that the breakfast room (located on the 10th floor) is rather small, maybe 7 or 8 tables. However, you can bring your buffet items up a short flight of stairs to the 11th floor for a choice of outdoor dining or another enclosed room there. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter just two blocks from Ho Kiem Lake. Be aware that since July 2026 there are limitations on vehicular traffic on many of the smaller streets in the Old Quarter, including on Bao Khanh where the hotel is located. This means that if you are going on an organized tour that uses a van or bus you likely will have to walk to a pick-up point that could be anywhere from a 3-minute walk to a 15- minute walk from your hotel. Despite these traffic restrictions, we had no trouble with car transport to/from the airport; there may be an exception for Grab/taxi drivers or maybe we just got lucky on the timing of the restrictions. We would return here on our next trip to Hanoi!

Great stay at Dal Vostro hotel! The hotel was centrally located in Hoan Kiem and close to everything, literally next to Pizza4ps and Polite&Co. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, also quiet as well. Breakfast was good and had a good selection. The staff can help organize car rides as well as laundry. I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location is unbeatable in the old quartier, just a few steps away from the lake, the shopping streets and countless restaurants. I was really impressed by the hospitality of the staff, in particular Sophie and Jimmy have been the kindest, most caring throughout my entire stay and before. Jimmy has been so nice with the WA communications in supporting my daytrip to Ha Long Bay. The hospitality was impeccable. The breakfast was varied and offered at a high floor with lots of natural light, I really appreciated also the warm option (omelette or pho) to order. Nice, spacious, clean room, big shower. Great value for money. I did not pay enough attention, but the Classic Double Room does not have windows or natural light. This was my fault not to notice upon booking, however this also came handy because the room was very quiet. A/C could have been more efficient, however it was not too warm or humid in the room.

The personal service at this hotel located in the heart of old town was absolutely outstanding. We departed on a weekend while the streets are closed to vehicles and they spoke directly with our transport company to arrange the pickup point, then kept in touch to coordinate timing and then escorted us to the location. Amazing! Rooms were clean, lovely decor and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Would stay here again!

The staff is amazing!! The moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile & the lovely lady gave us heaps of recommendations. Most of the time there was a door man and he always greeted us so lovely and always told us to have a good day. When we checked out I left my GoPro in the room not even knowing I did that, they brought it down to the front when they cleaned the room and advised me they have it which is so lovely and honest of them. Highly recommend this hotel
