What a great restaurant! I love Chinese food and had really been missing those flavors. We can’t wait to come back and try the dim sum (my favorite!). This will definitely be our go-to Chinese restaurant while we’re in Hanoi for a couple of months! The atmosphere is great, the music is nice, the AC is comfortable, and the seating is very good. The staff are very polite, friendly, and speak English well! Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Really enjoyed eating here. The food was delicious, and there were so many options to choose from. The buffet is definitely worth it because you get to try a bit of everything. The food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always checking if we needed anything. The location is also lovely, right by the lake, which makes the whole experience even better🥰

If I could give this restaurant one more star I would! As someone who eats Chinese food a lot, I can say that this one is a must try if you are in Hanoi. It was so good that we went there twice!! The first time was for dinner and I really liked their duck and beef. Then, we saw a flyer saying that they have all you can eat for lunch. Since my family all liked it, we decided to try the same restaurant the next day for lunch. We took the classic menu for lunch and it was still delicious!! They offered a lot of choices for dim sum and we tried everything once first. I can’t tell which one I liked best because most of them were really good. I also have to say that the service was excellent, the personal was welcoming, here for their client and even recommend you when you are not sure what to pick. I was just very satisfied and pleased with everything, I highly recommend!!

Very calm place nice if u want a quiet meal recommended items is the Fu Rong Hua BBQ Combo you can have either 2 or 3 meats choices are fried pork, roasted duck and roasted chicken I think. The fried squid with salt and pepper is good as well (perfectly salty). If you crave a dessert try the salted egg lava buns (dim sum). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Food was good, specially recommend roasted duck. Noodle soups are rather average, noodles taste a bit dry/uncooked, broth rather neutral. Softshell crab did not look like the picture, was covered in too much oily dough. Service in the basement was very attentive, on the third floor was rather unsatisfying. Location is nice. For my personal taste the AC was a bit too cool, so the food got cold quickly.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What cuisine does Fu Rong Hua Cantonese Restaurant serve?
Fu Rong Hua serves Cantonese cooking, centred on roasted meats, dim sum, and clean broths rather than the chilli-forward style common in northern Vietnamese Chinese cooking.

Is Fu Rong Hua Cantonese Restaurant quiet or loud?
