The spicy black ramen tasted really good. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had a nice level of spiciness that wasn’t overwhelming. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a great texture. The portion size was satisfying, and the ingredients felt fresh. The restaurant also had a comfortable atmosphere, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal.

If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese ramen, this spot is definitely worth adding to your list. I dropped by for a bowl recently and was thoroughly impressed by the depth of flavor here. The star of the bowl is undeniably the broth—it’s incredibly rich, savory, and has that deep, comforting taste that shows it has been simmered for hours. ​What made it even better was the tender slice of chashu pork that literally melts in your mouth, along with a perfectly gooey soft-boiled egg. Every component, from the noodles to the fresh scallions, pairs wonderfully together for a really hearty meal. ​The restaurant itself has a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere that closely mimics traditional ramen bars in Japan, making it perfect for a quick solitary comfort meal or a casual dinner with a friend. Plus, the staff are polite and quick on their feet, so the whole experience felt very smooth. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I have a ramen craving!

I’m a big fan of Japanese cuisine in general, and ramen in particular. For me, this restaurant is definitely in my top 5 favorite ramen spots. Food: 5/5 - The ramen is excellent. I have nothing to complain about with either of the flavors I tried - both the Akamaru Special and the Spicy Black were very impressive. If I had one small suggestion, I’d love for them to offer minced garlic or fried garlic as an optional topping for the ramen. If they did, I’d happily give them a 5.5/5 :))) Atmosphere: 5/5 - Spacious and comfortable, without being affected by the noise of the shopping mall. Decor: 5/5 - Minimalist but beautiful décor, with a strong Japanese aesthetic. Price: 4.5/5 - Reasonable pricing, though slightly more expensive than some restaurants in the same category. Service: 5/5 - The staff was polite and enthusiastic. I also noticed how professionally they handled serving a family with small children, which left a very good impression on me. We tried out Shiromaru, Karaka & Niku Soba. Nanban chicken was excellent & gyoza was so so. Ramen are donkotsu based broth with different sauce with different types of noodles. It can also be cooked with salt leve and noodle cooked level which was good option to have. You can also add more toppings on ramen for additional payment. My party enjoyed, if you are in the area, give it a try.

I was never really a ramen person, but Ippudo completely changed that for me. After trying it once in Sydney about nine years ago, I still remembered how good it was, so I was genuinely excited to find it again in Hanoi. The ramen here is easily the best I’ve ever had ,rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. It’s the kind of place that turns you into a fan without you even realizing it. Service is great, and I like that they provide bowls and utensils for kids, which makes it very family-friendly. Also worth noting, it’s operated by the same group behind Pizza 4P’s, so you can expect a certain level of consistency and quality. Great food, great atmosphere, absolutely love it.
