Despite being located inside the busy Lotte Mall West Lake, the café offers a surprisingly calm and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal escape from the crowds. The drinks are unique and refreshing, featuring interesting flavors that are easy to enjoy even if you’re trying them for the first time. Prices are reasonable and offer great value considering the quality of both the beverages and the overall experience. What stood out to me most was the genuinely “healing” vibe of the café. The quiet environment, comfortable seating, and pleasant ambiance create the perfect setting for focusing on work, reading a book, or simply slowing down and enjoying a peaceful moment. For remote workers, freelancers, or anyone looking for a cozy place to spend a productive afternoon, Thai Yên Café is definitely worth a visit. It’s a hidden oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling shopping center.

This location is more convenient than the one at Quan Thanh. The drinks still taste good, and the atmosphere is quite pleasant and cozy. I think it would be a better experience if the staff could bring the drinks to the table instead of customers having to come back to get them themselves. P/s: (Spend your time helping customers carry their belongings instead of trying to get positive reviews from them on Google.)

Updated : the signatures coffee taste good but it sends me straight to toilets. Typical from coffee highly contaminated with mycotoxins like 80% of the global market for mass production. Meaning they really serve cheap coffee. The line up system is stupid. They display the menu only at the end 2 times. So you cannot read the menu until you make it to the cash, making the process slow and cumbersome. Original review : paid 110k and I have to serve myself. No service. No napkin provided. Nor spoon. Cake served on a toxic waxed paper. Toxic paper straw (glues and chloride). Very unaware practices. Cheap. Too bassy annoying speakers. Evolve your service and the speakers for quality ones. Thaiyen is a successful coffee shop in Hanoi, famous for their minimalist yet qualitative vibe. Freshly inaugurating in westlake, they upscale their new store with comfortable setting and wider range of bakery sold. Not forgetting their signature drink like saigon and Sapa. One should totally prioritize genuine coffee shop such as Thaiyen instead of overrated starbucks (their dishes speak for themselves) or low quality highlands coffee. Thaiyen is the perfect cost performance coffee shop in Lotte.

Great spot for coffee lovers! The drinks are affordable, and the hibiscus cold brew is my absolute favorite. The staff is always warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure.
