AAHAR INDIAN RESTAURANT - Indian restaurant in Hanoi

Had a lovely dinner here. Was seated quickly, food took a little longer to come out but it did get quite busy. I had the chicken curry with potato which was lovely. I think it might have been nice to have some music for nicer atmosphere

We've been to all the major places in whole vietnam and gone to many Indian restaurants. But this one is the bestest I would say. You get authentic chicken biryani (but yes,quantity is not enough for two) they add perfect spice according to your tolerance. Taste is amazing. We even tried chicken chilly, even it is one of the best chillies. And we again went there especially for biryani.

Very disappointing experience. The portion sizes were extremely small, more like kids’ portions, especially considering how inexpensive noodles are here. The service was also lacking. I had to ask three times for some pepper, and eventually ended up going to the kitchen myself because it never arrived. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the workload. I won’t be returning.

Indian restaurant — strongly not recommended. The place is very dirty (the bathroom is practically inside their kitchen). The kitchen itself appears to have zero hygiene standards. On top of that, the waiting times were absurd. We waited almost 20 minutes just to place our order, and nearly another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. We ordered three cheese naans — they came with no cheese at all. When we informed a staff member, she simply ignored us and said, “That’s how it is.” Orders were wrong as well. A gentleman sitting next to us ordered lamb, and they brought him a meat-free option instead. Terrible experience. Try to avoid this place — there are many much better Indian restaurants in Hanoi. Rating: 0/10.

Aahar Indian Restaurant, Hanoi Indian style restaurant in Hanoi. When I visited the place was eally nice. I came across this place when I was returning back from train street. So this place is near to train street. I walked from there. So mostly walkable distance. The place has goodamount of seating space. Almost no waiting time. Regarding food I went there to have dinner. Food also came in 10-15 min. Didn't take much time. The food was really nice. It is almost Indian style, well tbh the Indian taste you can't create outside. But the food was really good. Will recommend others to visit the place once. Hospitality wise also it was really good. The staff were really humble. Nice seating and nice dinning. One last thing, its hard to find Indian style chai. They served good chai, scope of improvement is there.
