It’s obviously set up as just a tourist trap, but it’s still nice. I went in the middle of the day on a pretty hot day, so even on a weekend there were not many people there. 100k entry ticket and 50k bike hire. If I knew how small it was I wouldn’t have bothered with the bike hire. Climb the steps to the pagodas at both ends. Certainly not Mua cave quality, but still a nice view.

Absolutely MAGNIFICENT waterfall with surreal views. You can hike down and swim in the basin of the waterfall as the water crashes down on you. It was the experience of a lifetime for us - one I will never forget. A MUST visit on your trip! Back again for round two with the fam. Just as beautiful as last time but even better weather.

To visit Perfume Pagoda & soak its chaotic atmosphere, it is better to arrange the trip 1-2 months before Tet or 1-2 months after Tet. This would be the time when the locals do their pilgrimage. Visit with an open mind & observed everything. Some old photos taken in March, 2009 (17+ years ago). Many changes since.

Such a great place to visit! Super peaceful and just gorgeous. I didn’t know what to expect but it’s basically a really beautiful lake that you can bike or walk around with a couple mini temples and a nice viewpoint. There are koi fish in the lake too and butterflies around. I would recommend walking unless you have mobility issues. I don’t think it’s necessary to rent a bike. One thing I would say is that there’s nowhere to get a substantial meal, only snacks (at least, when I was there the cafe was closed) - so make sure to eat good before.

Tuyệt Tịnh Cốc (Am Tiên Cave) is a hidden gem that you shouldn't miss. To truly enjoy the beauty here, you must rent a bicycle and ride around the lake; it’s the best way to explore the many poetic and picturesque corners of the valley. I highly recommend climbing up to Am Tiên Cave. Not only can you learn about the historical and spiritual significance of the site, but you’ll also be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire valley from above. Another lovely detail is the lake itself—it's full of fish, and you can buy food to feed them, which is quite a relaxing experience. It’s a very serene and scenic spot, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy nature.
