Sen Tây Hồ is a massive, resort-like dining destination right by West Lake that’s well worth experiencing at least once. Walking in feels like stepping into a sprawling garden, especially in the evening when the outdoor areas are lit up. The main draw is the sheer scale of the food. Seafood, Vietnamese, barbecue, shellfish, sushi, meat dishes, and hundreds of dishes spread across different indoor and outdoor pavilions. The seafood section and the traditional Vietnamese corner are easily the highlights, offering everything from fresh grilled shellfish to classic local street-food favorites. It gets very busy, particularly on weekends, so expect a lively, bustling atmosphere. The staff is efficient at clearing plates and keeping the stations stocked despite the crowds. Just note that drinks are usually priced separately from your entry ticket. Come hungry, take your time walking around to see what catches your eye, and try to grab a table outside if the weather is nice.
