House of Xinh - Cafe in Hanoi

Top notch. I ordered a salad and the food was fabulous. The staff is very sweet and bashful. They have a lot of different seating options, outside, inside, upstairs, booth, chair, etc. It's set up for more than two people so it's a good spot to go with a group. The ordering process is interesting because you order on your phone and they bring it to you. I do wish they'd make it a little bit more seamless for the staff because the poor guys kinda walk around looking for you for a little bit but it adds its pros and cons. The one constructive criticism I would have, please have cold lettuce! The salad was very good but it would have been an incredible if the lettuce wasn't the same temperature as the chicken 🥴 still 5 stars though

House of Xinh is one of those places that immediately makes a strong first impression. The moment you walk in, the setup stands out. Thoughtfully designed interiors, plenty of comfortable seating, and a calm, peaceful vibe that feels just right for a slow morning. It’s the kind of space where you can actually relax, have a proper conversation, or ease into your day with a good breakfast or brunch. We ordered a mix of dishes: vegan full breakfast, cheese omelette, potato fries, coconut coffee, and white coffee. The menu itself is appealing, especially if you like having both vegan and classic options on the table. Let’s start with the positives. The service was genuinely great. Staff were attentive, polite, and everything arrived without long waits. The drinks, especially the coconut coffee, were enjoyable and well-balanced. Food, in terms of flavor, was good across the board. Nothing felt bland or poorly made. That said, there was one major drawback that’s hard to ignore: the oil. Almost everything we ordered leaned heavily on the oily side. It didn’t ruin the meal completely, but it definitely took away from the overall experience. After a few bites, it starts to feel a bit heavy, especially for what’s meant to be a fresh, morning-style meal. Here’s the thing: the food has potential. The flavors are there, the portions are decent, and the presentation fits the aesthetic of the place. But the excess oil becomes a distraction. If you’re planning to visit, it’s absolutely worth mentioning your preference and asking them to go light on the oil when ordering. Overall, House of Xinh is a great spot if you’re looking for a peaceful café with beautiful interiors and a relaxed brunch atmosphere. Just be a bit mindful when ordering, and you’ll likely have a much better experience than we did food-wise.

Adorable cafe. Lots of tables and space to work. 3 floors! Coffee is yummy and the breakfast is so good too! Adorable puppies too!!

A bit of a wait if they are busy and get a few tables all at once. After everything arrived, it looked great! Toast was slightly dry, had a bit of butter but they don't give you more, maybe you have to order it separately? The French Toast was the opposite, it was prefect! The omelette was good as well. Enough seating as you get to the second floor. Would definitely come back!

Remarkable experience in West Lake! As the main menu of this restaurant is Egg Benedict, It provided us outstanding quality and taste. The quality of ingredients are excellent which made me forget about the price. What a good memory!
