Really enjoyed eating here! The food was delicious, the portions were good, and everything came out fresh. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Anna, who was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The place had a nice, relaxed vibe, with good lake view and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
I I ordered Banh Xeo. Vietnam has many specialties, and Banh Xeo is one of them. I had tried several in Vietnam, and I actually wanted a soup. But somehow my attention was drawn to the picture of Banh Xeo. When it arrived, I was still a bit distracted. Suddenly, a waiter named Pi was standing next to me and showed me how to eat the dish properly. I was surprised by Pi's service and attentiveness. Unfortunately, he was called away to another table and apologized for having to leave. I was also impressed by the rest of the staff and the young woman who stood in front of the restaurant inviting guests. She was rather quiet, modest, and polite, which captivated me. The dish was incredibly good! I had Banh Xeo with beef. The taste was phenomenal. With the very crispy pancake in the rice puff pastry, both the taste and the texture were a real treat!
We had a great experience here. I had the Pho vegetable soup, which was delicious and very clean tasting. My husband had the green vegetable soup and loved it as well. The spring rolls were good, more like lettuce and carrots, wrapped in rice paper. The restaurant has a large, beautiful sign on top of the building, but it was a bit tricky to find from street level—we walked past it twice. Once we found it, though, everything was excellent. Owners were nice and friendly.
Yen and her staff are extremely attentive and we happened to stop by to try the Banh xeo which was wonderful! She sampled how to wrap it in rice paper like a spring roll and it was extremely tasty. We also enjoyed two bowls of Pho ga which is checked noodle soup and a very healthy portion. We had an order of the Pho Dac Biet Ha Noi as well and it was also very good. The spring rolls Pho cuon tom and the authentic Hanoi Spring rolls Nem Ha Noi, were also very tasty with the fresh sour sauce and ginger. We also really enjoyed the mixed passion and mango juice and the fresh ginger and lemongrass with honey tea was an absolute favorite!
The service was excellent. Sunny was very sweet, attentive, and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. She even explained step-by-step how to eat the Vietnamese chicken pancake, which was flavorful and fresh. I ordered the chicken with ginger and lemongrass, which was a bit bland for my taste. We also had two lemonades and a beer. The total came to a little over 500k VND, which felt on the higher side compared to other meals we’ve had in Hanoi. The location is great, right in front of the lake, and the atmosphere is pleasant. One small downside was cleanliness — our table wasn’t clean when we sat down, and the glass door could use some attention. Overall, great service and a beautiful location, with some room for improvement on the food balance and details
