Good place to chill when having a rest from hoen kiem lake.. nice view outside

Went here on the 07.03.2026 a Saturday so it was a bit noisy outside. However it still had a nice vibe. The way inside is a bit interesting because u have to go through a narrow path and you think you will soon pop in a family’s apartment however that is nothing new in Hanoi. The worker at the front seemed pretty nice and explained to me real quick what the differences was between a white coffee and a milk coffee. I think I endet up buying a Vietnamese milk coffee. ( so a coffee with condense milk) The coffee was pretty good. I ended up taking out my laptop and worked for a bit. So the WiFi worked great and they also had working outlets. The coffeshop is on the second floor of an old appartment. Really nice view to the Hoan Kiem Lake and surprisingly not so overpriced. The egg coffee was so good

It was a nice surprise for me when my friend brought me here. The entrance is hidden between shops, so unless you already know the place, I bet normal person would not be able to find it. Once you walk thru a small and old alley, you will have to go upstairs. Walking pass the small reception, you will have three areas to choose. The inside areas are very cozy, quiet and therefore it is comfortable for a group of friends to chat. If you come alone, you can also find a quiet place for yourself. Most visitors prefer to seat at the balcony to look down one of the most beautiful streets in Hanoi. From the balcony you can enjoy magnificent view of Hoan Kiem lake. Not only the view will take your heart but the drink menu also worths to revisit. They have really special tropical drink menu and few items of desserts. I am very picky with deserts, but I have to admit that the quality is similar to the one at 5 star hotel, if not even better. Last but not least, the price is reasonable for such high quality and is much cheaper than at other cafeteria. This cafe became my most favorite place to seat hours by Hoàn Kiếm lake. I really hope they can keep the charm of interior, the quality of food and drinks so that we can have unforgettable memory here.

Entrance is a bit hidden (follow the sign). Lovely balcony view over the lake. Limited space on the balcony. We paid for our 2 egg coffees with a 500k and they didn't seem happy about that. However, the egg coffee (our first in Vietnam) was beautifully presented and very tasty. Overall, would recommend.
