The place itself is pleasant, and the free-flow offer provides good value. Prices are generally fair. That said, service and food quality can be a bit inconsistent depending on the visit. On one occasion, we ordered directly at the counter and clearly communicated our order. There was a longer wait than expected, and the order was mixed up, with some confusion about additional charges. Although we arrived early, our food was served later than others. During our Christmas dinner gathering, the lamb dish arrived lukewarm and didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of flavor and texture. However, during the Tết dinner gathering, the menu was different and the food was noticeably more flavorful, which shows the kitchen’s potential. Overall, the staff are friendly and welcoming. For larger groups, it may be helpful to double-check orders to avoid any misunderstandings. A private room is available with advance booking, which is a nice option for group gatherings. I’d be happy to return and hope for an even better experience next time.

I was really looking forward to dining at Rosas, but the experience was disappointing. We ordered the lamb kofta skewers as an appetizer, but they arrived undercooked and inedible. While the staff offered to cook them again, the skewers only came out after we had finished our main course, making it awkward to eat an appetizer after the meal. Additionally, I ordered the steak sandwich, and my wife ordered the Moroccan chicken, but both dishes came out as wraps, which was confusing. The menu was misleading, as I was expecting a sandwich on bread, not a wrap. If I had known it wasn’t an actual sandwich, I would have ordered something else. To make things worse, my wife found a hair in her Moroccan chicken. Everything we ordered was also lacking in salt. We had the garlic rosemary roast potatoes, which tasted more like boiled potatoes with just a hint of garlic. Our waitress did mention that there’s a new staff member, possibly in the kitchen, which could be the cause of the issues. But if that’s the case, the restaurant needs to find a better chef, or the new chef needs to improve. For a restaurant that isn’t the cheapest in the area, having such basic things lacking in quality was a real disappointment. While the staff tried to address the undercooked skewers, the overall experience left us feeling disappointed. I hope the restaurant works on improving its food preparation, seasoning, and menu accuracy.

This is a family owned and run restaurant with gorgeous charm and an incredible menu!!! We had to return after our first visit and we were not disappointed, the cold beer, the cold slav cider and then the food!!! We all had a vast selection of food which was very reasonably priced!!! Highly recommend Rosas, our favourite in Hanoi!!!

This restaurant is not to be missed! The atmosphere is casual-chic with a beautiful glass-walled seating area in the front. The service is prompt and attentive. But most importantly, the food is top-notch: deliciously flavorful, plated well, and reasonably priced. I especially like the salt and pepper fried squid. It's not too heavy with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. A good wine selection with some solid craft beers on the menu give plenty of beverage options. Overall, it's one of our favorite spots in Tay Ho.

TLDR: paid 500k+ for a glass of orange juice (context: 5+ times more than what an orange juice is worth). Everyone else was drinking alcohol except for me and I started my own tab before ordering and they weren’t keeping track of my tab, so not sure why they gave me the tab in the first place. Also, those who were drinking alcohol, not all of them paid for the free flow package but somehow me who was ordering 1 glass of orange juice must paid for free flow. If I was into alcohol and was trying to take advantage of the bar I wouldn’t be wasting my time during the free flow duration on an orange juice and I will just go straight in for as many alcoholic drinks as I could order. Bar/restaurant lacked consideration and flexibility in taking things into consideration. No one confirmed with me and my partner that we had started the free flow and my partner was quite surprised when staff approached him and said that the ‘time is up’. At no point during the evening did any of the staff cared to confirm or asked us if we were opting for free flow or not - worth mentioning again that not everyone in the group were opting for free flow.
