Loved this hotel. It's located conveniently in the Tay Ho ward, only 10-15 minutes via Grab/Taxi to the touristy area of Old Quarter. If you're looking for the touristy scene where you can walk outside and party up, this is not for you. However. It's not exactly boring either. Sheraton is located in a quiet area with convenient stores, grocery. restaurants, cafes, etc nearby. Busy area but not overtly crowded and touristy. The clientele seems to be mainly business travelers. Staff is incredible. Always anticipating our needs. We spent a majority of our time in the club lounge which was always appropriately staffed and clean. My is the manager and runs a tight ship, always smiling. Staff members Thao and Anh always work so hard and pleasantly, they have a great memory and always bring out whatever we need before asking. The chef, Kien, so sweet. He always remembered how I liked it eggs. Excellent service. The bellman/concierge, Thung Anh and Thang. Such sweet, friendly, and funny gentleman. Always welcoming us home and giving us great recommendations. Now the hotel. Large rooms, spacious and clean. Great amenities are provided. Bed is super comfy and hotel is quiet at night. Two restaurants on-site in addition to the 24 hour club lounge with limited staff hours. Gym is also staffed but quite small with a sauna. And the pool is large and beautiful. Hotel is a nice representation of the Marriott brand and I would recommend them again.

The Sheraton Hanoi West Lake was a very pleasant hotel, catering to a mix of business and leisure guests. Although the building (the tower) looks a bit dated, the arrival area is beautifully decorated in Vietnamese style. The floors are currently being renovated, and it's done very tastefully. One tip for the hotel: add a bit more decoration on the walls and shelves to give it a more local feel. We checked in at the club lounge on the 17th floor, which was smooth and professional. The lounge has a fantastic view and good snack options in the evening. Breakfast there was also excellent. The pool photos on the hotel website really need updating — the pool looks much better in person. The spa services are also worth recommending. The hotel is located outside the tourist zone but is easily reached by Grab. Finally, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, a hotel I'd definitely recommend for a visit to Hanoi, even for tourists.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi as part of our Thailand and Vietnam holiday. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to extensive renovation work.|We booked through an agent and were only informed about the renovations after the booking had been made, when the hotel contacted us regarding our room requirements. We fully support the hotel carrying out improvements, but the level of noise was far beyond what we expected. Drilling began at around 8:30am and continued until approximately 5:30pm, sounding as though it was directly beside our room. We were on the 17th floor and, despite being offered the option to move rooms when we complained, there was no guarantee the noise would be any better. With only two nights remaining, moving all our belongings did not seem worthwhile.|Sadly, we returned each day with migraines and were unable to rest properly. By the end of the holiday, we felt more exhausted than when we left. We appreciate that the hotel had mentioned renovation noise, but the warning did not convey the extent of the disruption. Had we known drilling would be this severe, we would have chosen another hotel.|The reception staff at both check-in and check-out were professional and courteous, and the lounge has a stunning view. We would also like to give a huge thank you to the maid who looked after the 17th floor and cleaned our room. Unfortunately, we cannot remember her name, but she was extremely professional and could not do enough for us. Her kindness and dedication were greatly appreciated.|However, overall, we felt disappointed and shortchanged given the amount we paid. We hope the hotel will review how renovation work is communicated to guests and will contact us separately regarding our concerns.

I stayed at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel for a 2-day, 1-night business trip, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent — close to major business districts and easily accessible from the airport, which made commuting straightforward and stress-free.Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff were courteous and professional, offering helpful recommendations for transport and local dining. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the essentials for work, including a comfortable desk and fast Wi-Fi, which made completing tasks during my stay very convenient. The hotel’s dining options were solid, with a variety of breakfast items that catered well to international tastes. I also appreciated the quiet environment in the room, which allowed me to rest and focus without distractions.Although my stay was short, the Sheraton provided a comfortable and efficient environment for business travel. I would definitely consider staying here again for future trips to Hanoi.

I cannot thank the team at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel enough for turning a stressful situation into a flawless stay. After an incredibly exhausting ordeal where I was denied boarding on my flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi, walking into this hotel felt like a total sanctuary. The genuine empathy and top-tier hospitality shown by the staff completely washed away the travel nightmare. The Executive Club Lounge: The lounge here is spectacular—easily one of the best around. A massive thank you to Oanh, the Loyalty Manager, who ensured that my stay was seamless and that elite loyalty to the brand was truly recognized. I also want to highly commend Quynh Anh from the lounge team for providing superb, highly attentive service that made an amazing impression throughout my visit. Rooms & Dining: The Suite: The newly renovated rooms and suites are lovely and feature excellent updated technology. The upgraded mirrors and modern toilets were great touchpoints. While the bathroom tiles and walls could still use a bit of modern updating to fully match the sleek new bedroom, it was still a highly comfortable, high-end hard product. The Food: Breakfast was delicious! The authentic Vietnamese pho is a must-have. Other major standouts included the perfectly crispy hashbrowns and the custom garlic and cheese egg white omelets, which were cooked to perfection. Verdict: Phenomenal hardware backed by an even better service team. They don't just run a hotel here; they practice real hospitality. Highly recommended!
