The Apini Bar is primarily a cocktail and pool bar, though it does have beer and wine, etc., options too. Having said that, it's a great spot for a beer and a game of pool, where the two pool tables are of top quality, and very reasonably priced at 50K VND per hour. The service is with a smile, and all prices are very competitively pitched, and it's well worth a visit even though somewhat off the Central Hanoi beaten track.

This is not a series of isolated incidents; it is a recurring pattern of behavior. Any attempt to dispute a charge or voice a complaint is met with physical intimidation and assault rather than professional resolution. They seemingly rely on alleged local police connections to maintain a sense of invincibility while mistreating guests. Predatory Billing and Environment Open Tab Risks: Never keep an open tab here. Bartenders and owners frequently add unauthorized charges. Pool Table Scams: They charge anywhere from 20-50k per hour for pool but routinely attempt to bill for extra time that was never played.
