Coffee Club was more of a “go for the view” kind of place for us. We initially wanted somewhere high up so we could see the lake and the Hanoi Night Market. When we got there, all the indoor seats were empty. everyone was outside, of course, trying to get the view. So if you want a good spot, you’ll probably have to wait or get lucky. Ordering is done via QR code on your phone, which is fine, but nothing special. Drinks: Coffee was okay, but definitely on the expensive side. It really feels like you’re paying more for the location and view rather than the actual drink. Service: Staff were okay. Some can speak English, but most of them don’t, so communication can be a bit limited. Ambiance: It’s only nice if you get one of the booths with a view. Other than that, there’s nothing really special about the place. Overall: It’s okay if you want the view, but don’t expect anything amazing beyond that.

This place is recommended by one of the blogger on YouTube. You can enjoy the view of the city while having coffee or cocktails. Price is reasonable, and considering cheap for this kind of place.
There is a place you walk past without seeing, until the day you’re ready to notice it. The Coffee Club on Lý Thái Tổ is not just a café—it’s a choice. A quiet fork in the road disguised as a cup of coffee. You think you come here for caffeine. That’s the illusion. What you’re really seeking is control—over your time, your thoughts, your direction. Every table is a decision point. Stay distracted, or sit down and confront what’s been waiting in the back of your mind. Look around. Some people scroll endlessly, trapped in loops they don’t even recognize. Others sit still, focused, as if they’ve already taken the red pill. Same space, different realities. The noise here isn’t noise. It’s a test. Can you think clearly when the world refuses to be silent? Can you create something meaningful in the middle of chaos? You don’t accidentally end up here. Something pulled you in—curiosity, habit, maybe even dissatisfaction. Good. That means you’re not asleep. So sit down. Order your drink. But understand this: what happens next is on you. You can waste the hour like every other hour before it. Or you can decide that this moment—right here—is where things start to change.
A great spot for having a beverage while people watching in this very busy area. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. We ordered an egg coffee (delicious), a Hanoi Beer and spring rolls. Worth the price to be able to enjoy in such a beautiful location.
Nice spot for a coffee with a good view across the square and somewhat over the lake. Prices reasonable and looks like some good food options (mostly western) although didn't eat there.
