They have really good, huge cake slices. Brunch food was a bit meh, but not very expensive so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Services varies. I'd had really great customer service as well as some attitude from different employees. Sometimes it's hard to get their attention when super crowded. I booked a table once and the person on the other end (i think the owner herself) reserved the wrong date and we had no seat. I really recommend the Maldovik cake, pecan cheesecake and all the ones with alcohol in it.

The Americano was also nicely done: simple, smooth, and not overly bitter, making it a great choice for a relaxed afternoon coffee. The atmosphere deserves mention as well. The space felt calm and unpretentious, and the staff maintained a quiet, composed presence that contributed to a peaceful environment. Lunch was equally enjoyable, especially the vegan sandwich options, which were flavorful and satisfying without being heavy, again, around a solid 4-star experience. However, the service policy left a sour note. During a national holiday, the shop enforced a strict two-hour seating limit to accommodate more customers. While understandable from a business perspective, it felt rigid and somewhat unwelcoming, especially for those hoping to relax longer in such a calm setting. This rule disrupted an otherwise smooth visit and made the experience feel slightly transactional. Overall, a good café with quality offerings, but the service policy could be more customer-friendly.

Ordered a vegan birthday cake (peanut butter chocolate) for my girlfriend’s birthday it was amazing, tasted so so good (even as a non vegan myself). They were super responsive on Facebook messenger and very accommodating of me asking for decoration and changing dates for pickup. Really recommend! Thank you so much!

I’ve visited Eastern and Oriental Tay Ho many times, and every experience has been wonderful. I especially love the cakes—they pair perfectly with the teapot and make such a relaxing treat. On March 10th, I came with my mom, and we had an even more memorable visit. A waitress from Iran supported us so kindly—she helped carry our cake and tea from the balcony to the second floor, and even took beautifully angled photos for us. We really appreciated her thoughtful service. We always enjoy our time here and will definitely be back 💞

Their meal options are excellent, not just the cakes. There’s a good variety to choose from, and the portions are generous, making every order filling, satisfying, and great value for the price. The Iranian staff is so welcoming and hospitable.
