HANOI 1930 BISTRO - Vietnamese restaurant in Hanoi

What a wonderful restaurant. Beautifully decorated, warm and friendly staff, our meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Large selection of authentic Vietnamese cuisine including a very good selection of vegetarian dishes. Definitely something for everyone and very affordable prices. Highly recommend this restaurant to all who visit Hanoi. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Restaurant with a True Soul Hanoi Bistro 1930 is really a restaurant with a true soul! Step behind the main door from one of the busiest streets in the center of Hanoi, and you instantly enter another world. The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and uniquely "Hanoiian". Every detail of the restaurant — from the tablecloths and paintings on the wall to the fresh flowers and lush plants carefully selected for every corner — reflects the restaurant's identity and the passion of the owner and her team for cultural heritage and authentic hospitality. The service staff is outstanding. They are very friendly, attentive, professional, and kind. I asked them to take some photos of my friends and me, and they even tried different angles and artistic styles to capture the perfect shots and create a wonderful experience for us. They are just an amazing team! The drinks are all house - made and exceptionally fresh. I highly recommend the "Butterfly Pea Flower Tea" and the fresh "Orange Juice". As for the food, every dish is authentic, delicious, and beautifully presented with love. I tried the Papaya Salad with Soft-shell Crab, the Crab Spring Rolls, and the Grilled Traditional "Lang" Fish — each was absolute a perfection. I also had the luck to meet the owner, who is a very beautiful, gentle, sympathetic and charming lady. Her dedication shines through the entire place! I will for sure come back soon. I can highly recommend this hidden gem!

Hanoi 1930 Bistro is a wonderful spot to experience both the charm of Hanoi and its delicious cuisine. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive service staff, who took great care of us throughout the meal and provided excellent recommendations on local Vietnamese dishes. One of the highlights of the restaurant is its fantastic ambience. Situated on a street corner, it offers a lovely balcony seating area where we enjoyed our tea while watching the bustling streets below, soaking in the sights and sounds of Hanoi's vibrant city life. The food was delicious, with a wide selection of both Vietnamese and Western dishes on the menu. However, being in Vietnam, the local specialties were impossible to resist and certainly did not disappoint. Every dish was flavourful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Combined with its warm hospitality, charming atmosphere, and excellent food, Hanoi 1930 Bistro is a place I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi and looking for an authentic yet comfortable dining experience.

Lovely 2 stories bistro restaurant and café. Good atmosphere and excellent service. An oasis to come by on a hot summer day. Staffs were friendly and spoke perfect English. 👍 David from Australia who served our table, proactively provided us with great tips about the dishes and information on the city. Thu Lan was so lovely. At the end of the meal she helped even when my GRAB driver tries to cancel on my ride/ called him for me, and gave me some iced green tea whilst waiting for my ride. 🥰😍 I definitely recommend this restaurant to all, and it's worth every penny. 👌

Right in the heart of the city. A beautifully designed restaurant with reasonably delicious food. A wonderful selection of Vietnamese cuisine to choose from. A very comfortable dining experience.
