Wow, two of the best dishes I've eaten in Hanoi. The crispy catfish spring rolls were divine. A real crunch to the outside, perfectly fried and delicious. The oxtail stew was out of this world! The meat fell apart from the bone. Gelatinous, unctuous and the bread was perfect dipped in the beautiful gravy. The restaurant itself was beautiful. 11/10! No notes.

It’s was ok. There was a sign that said it won a Michelin star in 23 and 24, but I thought the food was just ok. Cinnamon tea was on the menu, and when I ordered it, it was just like an old teabag that lost its flavour. We ordered Highway 4 fried rice; the server said it would be enough for four and it wasn’t even enough for one. Char siu was dried out, and the morning glory was ok. If you’re hungry, it’s fine, but if you want something special skip it. Oh and you need to like American early 80’s rock ish music or you’ll be bored out of your mind. I wish there was some cultural music. Server was just doing their job, nothing extra until we left and they opened the door and thanked us so much for coming.

We really liked this place, food was really good, service friendly and helpful. We had a two taseting sets of liquor, red sticky rice rules! Have to try. From the food catfish spring rolls, 5 colour sticky rice and bamboo roots stole our hearts!

The place wasn't busy on Saturday dinner time. In fact we were the only one downstairs when we got there, the place was slowly filled in with diners later. All the staffs were enthusiastic and welcoming. Staffs were happy to recommend as the menu items were special and you don't see them at any other restaurants. We ordered a few items like Smoked Buffalo and Sauteed Frogs but we did not regret. All in all it was a good dining experience.
