Lá Studio - Vegan restaurant in Hanoi

Probably my favorite cafe I have ever visited. The vibes of the place (especially on the top floor) are nice, and the workers are welcoming and nice - but even if they were awful I would come back simply for the food. First of all the sweets - every single desert I had was delicious. 1. I hold the cinnamon roll close to my heart, it’s the only one I think they have every day because besides that the deserts changed 2. Almond croissant was amazing and soft 3. Pain au chocolate - it’s been years since I had one and it was great My friends also had lemon cake and banana cake they liked And the sandwiches!!! 1. The Pattie sandwich was amazing and I really like dill 2. The tempeh sandwich was lovely the taste was strong and great 3. The mushroom sandwich was also good but I had it it focaccia bread that was too oily for my liking 4. The carrot lox bagel was cute Gonna miss this place

Love the relaxing atmosphere here. The food is always great, the service is friendly, and they have some of the best smoothie bowls. Definitely one of my favourite spots!

So so so nice! Really excellent food. There was some construction going on downstairs when I was there, so it got a bit loud, but the vibe was very nice overall. It feels like you‘re sitting in an old apartment, very airy + high ceilings and a nice balcony. Tomato soup + grilled cheese was very very good (especially the bread and vegan cheese, unusually nice!), cinnamon roll was also excellent! I think all the pastries looked very nice in general, wish I could have tried more. I also had a chocolate smoothie, it was not so much my taste but overall the food was very nice!

I went to La Studio several times over the course of a week. Some days it is super busy, hard to find any tables, and some days it is super easy to get a table. Seems to be busier around lunchtime, so if you go for breakfast/brunch you will be more likely to get a table. The food is really top quality, the best Western-style food in Hanoi by a mile. Although the menu is small, there are still quite a few options so you can go multiple times in a week and try new dishes. The drinks are a bit lacking, compared to the quality of the food, which is a shame. They do not pack the same flavour. Staff are friendly and speak good English. We did find that you would get a number of the dishes/drinks you ordered then have to wait a long time for the remaining bits. For example on two occasions we received all the food and one drink, finished it all, then still had to wait a while to get the final drink, which would have been better enjoyed with the food. Fully vegan.

La Studio is a wonderful vegan café that truly feels more like a warm, welcoming home than a typical commercial spot. It seems to be run by a group of friends — and it shows in the care, professionalism, and genuine attention they put into everything they serve. The ambience is simple and neutral — nothing fancy, but perfectly comfortable for a relaxed meal. The focus here is clearly on the food, and they absolutely deliver. The menu isn’t very large, but every item I tried was excellent. The smoothie bowls, vegan sandwiches, and desserts were all fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. Honestly, if I could eat here every day, I would. Note: They accept only cash, so carry some with you and Parking is available inside the premises, which is very convenient.
