The food was really not so great. Service wasn’t great too - lady took my plate right before my nose as I was waiting for my kids to get ready to leave. Being at a touristy place, and something more upmarket, I’m surprised their staff didn’t understand English much… the location was nice which is its saving grace.

eating a bowl of Pho and drink coffee at the lake at this restaurant is something I do every autumn. Its the vibe of Hanoi that I always miss Other than that, my family often celebrate special occasions here. They have private room with great view of the lake. If you want to try some rarer, more exotic food like a type of bird or fish, they cater and make made-to-order. It’s a but costly but Luc Thuy chef always delivers the best Vietnamese food. Their normal a la carte is also good

Go on a friday or Saturday night, the city closes down the roads to allow pedestrian traffic only around the lake, and the vibe here is fantastic. The food is delicious, the cocktails are fabulous, and the service is teriffic. Loved it.

The food was average and noticeably overpriced for the quality. Dishes were not served hot, which was disappointing. The restaurant was not crowded at all during our visit. Yet, when we politely asked a waiter, Nguyen Long Vuc, to help us take a group photo, he bluntly refused, saying, “I am busy,” and even pointed to his name tag for us to remember his name. An astonishing display of poor attitude and unprofessionalism. To make matters worse, despite being seated indoors, cigarette smoke kept wafting into the area, seriously affecting the dining experience.

An excellent location next to the Ho Guom Lake and at the center of the city. Inside decoration is good with spacious terrace that we could take a cup of coffee or tea together. Staffs are enthusiastic. Price is relatively expensive, foods are not excellent. Especially, they provide live music with folk musical instruments.
