I stumbled upon this little café in the Old Quarter while looking for a midday coffee, and I’m so glad I did. The owner is also the barista, and I enjoyed watching her carefully make each cup. She was genuinely warm and welcoming, and a few of her friends were there enjoying coffee as well, which made the place feel even more cozy and authentic. While I was sipping my coffee, I noticed her stamping her logo onto paper bags. My intrusive thoughts won, so I asked if I could help. She and her friends burst into laughter, and it turned into such a fun interaction. We ended up chatting for a while, they shared some delicious Vietnamese plums with me, and she even gave me one of the stamped paper bags as a keepsake. We also took a few photos together to remember the moment. The genuine hospitality and kindness that turned a simple coffee stop into one of my favorite memories from Hanoi. If you’re looking for great coffee and an authentic local experience, this café is absolutely worth a visit.
