RuNam Lotte Mall West Lake - Restaurant in Hanoi

A beautiful and classy café tucked inside Lotte Mall West Lake. ✨ The interior is elegant, modern and very Instagram-worthy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 definitely a nice spot to sit down, chill and people-watch after shopping. RuNam is known for its Vietnamese coffee and café-style drinks, and the presentation is just as pretty as the setting. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a good place for a coffee break or a casual catch-up. Service was friendly and the ambience was definitely the highlight for me. ❤️ If you’re already at Lotte Mall West Lake, RuNam is a nice little stop for coffee, dessert and some quiet time away from the shopping crowd.

Sold out of pho. Server suggested the crab noodle soup as an alternative. Smelled like a shallow ocean pool of dead fish. Noodles were gross. Soup was super thick, like mucus. Zero flavor and had to ask for salt. Ordered a glass of wine to not be disappointed. Took 5 minutes to get it. Have no idea how they have the nerve to be that incompetent at stocking and serve food that bad/mediocre at that price point. If you enjoyed this place, I question your palate.

I had a fantastic dining experience at RuNam. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always there to help without being intrusive. The food was also amazing, with each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.

The food here tastes good. I first tried mushroom salad and it was so good that I visited again the next day with my husband. We ordered 3 dishes and tea and had ice cream for dessert. The price was a bit high(1.2 million vnd) but had a nice meal. I want to recommend high quality tea here.

Totally loved the Vietnamese food here. It's on the expensive end and portions are not super large (I find the portions reasonable). Have tried their: 1. Cao Lau (came back another day just for this!) 2. Banh Canh Cua Lot (I think the noodles were overcooked as it wasn't chewy. It was just melting 😅. But the flavour of the Broth was really good. 3. Banh Hoi with Nem Lui - perfectly smoked meats. Ok their Western fare though was not as good. 1. Chicken Caesar Salad - the sweet mayonnaise ruined it all. 2. Grilled Salmon - this was not too bad 3. Shrimp Ajillo - a tad on salty side. But flavourful enough. Garlic coming out strong. 4. Rocket Salad - it's alright. 5. Chicken Wings - batter was crispy. Chicken was juicy. 5pcs per portion of only the middle wing. 6. Onion Ring Tower - the batter was quite lacking actually. For some reason, it had sandy bits - I mean not sand but it was made like that on purpose. Not what I'm used to I guess. The sauce that came with it was weird. It's the same sauce for the chicken wings. The cold tofu dessert was also a bit of a miss. As texture was too runny for silken tofu. For drinks - I highly recommend the Iced Tamarind tea with Palm Fruit and the Salted Cream Coffee. 👌 But the wait staff were all on point!! Helpful, fast and attentive despite it being slightly busy.
