I’ve been coming to Salt n Lime since their Dang Thai Mai days, and I’m so happy they found a new home on Au Co! I do miss the little garden at the old place though. 🥹 The food is still amazing (especially the tacos 🌮), and now there are even more dishes to try. Super friendly staff too. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

⭐ 1 Star – Absolutely the Worst Restaurant Experience in Hanoi This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in Hanoi. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, yet we were still excited to enjoy Taco Tuesday. We ordered 2 Margaritas, but they were shockingly bad, watery, bland, and lacking any real flavor. When we politely mentioned that the drinks needed improvement, the staff's response was that they would "do better next time" rather than fixing the problem immediately. We eventually had to insist on receiving a properly made replacement. The real disaster began after that. We waited over an hour for our tacos, and not a single plate ever arrived. During that entire time, we repeatedly asked about our order, but the staff showed little interest in helping. Instead of providing updates or apologizing for the delay, they were cold, dismissive, and seemed determined to ignore us. Their excuse was that the restaurant was busy, even though there were barely any customers in sight. In fact, other guests became so frustrated that they left before we did. When we finally gave up and asked for the bill, no one apologized. Not once. To make matters worse, we were charged for both drinks despite being told about a buy-1-get-1-free promotion when we arrived. It felt dishonest and incredibly unprofessional. Only after we pointed out the issue and refused to pay the incorrect amount did the server print a new bill, as shown in the photo. What's most disappointing is that I used to enjoy this restaurant years ago. I first visited in 2016 and had good memories of the place. Seeing how far it has fallen is genuinely shocking. Poor service, endless waiting, bad drinks, no accountability, and misleading billing practices. This restaurant clearly does not value its customers. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else!!!!

Fun Taco Tuesday and some well deserved Tortillas love. Cute decor- very tex mex style, nice seating areas with room for large groups. AYCE tacos on Tuesday!!! Tacos were nice with flavors, great presentation, and a nice variety of flavors. I tried 6 different ones- my faves were Barbacoa, chicken, and smoked brisket! Also yhey have good salsa Verde- this coming from a Texas girl. Definitely need more people here to keep this spot going! Support taco Tuesday! 🌮 oh and the drinks were nice! Staff was great and quick to deliver food and checked in often. Will return to try more items!

The Best Beef Enchiladas of My Life—In Hanoi! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors in Hanoi, Salt n' Lime is an absolute must-visit. From the moment the first round of chips and salsa arrived alongside our margaritas, we knew we were in for a treat. As someone who was raised in Southern California and used to cross the border on weekends specifically for authentic Mexican food, I have very high standards. Salt n' Lime didn't just meet them—they blew them away. The Highlights: The Margaritas & Starters: The margaritas are expertly mixed, and the chips and salsa are the perfect opening act. The Burritos: Massive, fresh, and flavorful. The Beef Enchiladas: These were beyond belief. I can honestly say they are hands down the best I have ever eaten. The depth of flavor is something you usually only find in a family kitchen in Mexico. The Service: The manager is awesome and clearly brings a wealth of high-level restaurant experience to the floor. The service is seamless, and you can tell the entire team cares about the quality of your experience. Bottom line: Whether you're a local or just passing through Vietnam, go to Salt n' Lime. You will not be disappointed!
