Bánh Mì Giòn Bảo Minh (Bảo Minh Crispy Bread) - Asian restaurant in Hanoi

The best banh mi I found this time in Vietnam by far... I tried many places after my favorite one disappeared and this one was the best, the lady speaks English and is super kind. Loved it.

Two foodies from NYC, we’ve been in HCM and Hanoi for almost two months, this little gem is in our top 3 best banh mi in VN. The owner is very friendly and speaks good english. Also, their fresh pineapple juice is good. And if you can handle heat, get their spicy sauce. Highly recommend. You might get grandma Su asking for you to pet her (pic #2) but honestly it took her a few trips to warm up to me 😅

We had a quick bahn mi with egg for breakfast and it was good. I would consider it a typical bahn mi except the bread is SO so extra good. They do a nice egg wash and toast the whole thing at the end making it extra crispy. The ladies who run it are very nice. A side note- we had seen pictures of people sitting by the lake but it’s worth noting that the sidewalk is currently under construction and not available for dining. I would still eat it again though.

Came here because I saw the reviews and the bahn mi does not disappoint! It was soooo yummy!! 😍🇨🇦 Crispy bun but not too crispy and flavorful meat, I got the special grilled beef with some spice to it. The owner is very sweet and kind and she makes everything. Nice view too. You definitely need to come eat here! 💓

A nice family run place. Banh mi special 30k VND (2025) Pineapple+apple+celery juice 30k VND Come here for a quick lunch, also the chill vibe around. Tiny chairs facing the lake. It’s a simple setting, but do the job. I like it is quiet. Banh Mi taste good, I like crunchy bread. And the sting in the kick of chilli. The Juice is large glass, nice to sip for a long time. Overall a good find, nice place and wish it keeps doing better.
