Cong Cafe – Nha Tho - Coffee shop in Hanoi

This café is located right in front of Hanoi Cathedral, a popular tourist attraction. It’s part of one of the chains that are synonymous with Vietnam. The coffee is, of course, delicious, and with views of Hanoi Cathedral through the windows and City Buses passing by, the atmosphere is very lively and bustling. I highly recommend stopping by here while you’re visiting Hanoi Cathedral.

We really enjoyed Cong's Cà phê cốt dừa (Coconut Coffee)—my brain froze for a bit and loved it!—and a taste of Bạc xỉu (White Coffee) after a long, tiring trip from Sapa. It was a perfect nightcap and a boost of energy to check out the night market. The next day, after a light brekky from a nearby Banh mi store, we headed to Cong Caphe for their Cà phê muối (Salted Cream Coffee)—perfect fuel to start the day! This branch is always packed with tourists and locals since St. Joseph Cathedral is just across the street. Waiting for stools to sit may take a while, but it's really worth it! I observed locals buying coffee with a bag of sunflower seeds... probably a must-try when we return to Vietnam!

our last stop in hanoi before heading to the airport, vibe was nice by the cathedral, seated at the 2nd floor, everything is perfect until we tried the ice coconut coffee, ice salted cream coffee and coconut green rice, it is too sweet for all of us, the overall coconut and coffee mix/taste is not up to our liking, tried to ask the waiter to less the condense milk, it was still super sweet.. compared to the other coconut coffee we tried in Sapa and other cafes we tried in Hanoi, this brand is the least preferred, if the coffee is stronger it will definitely better ! anyway, for those who loves to hangout in a rustic designed coffeeshop, enjoying quality time with friends with a nice cathedral view, this place is highly recommended (but not the coffee, improvement is needed)

A must try coffee shop in Vietnam! - Very chill place, can talk easily, in-front of a church - It seems they only serve ice coffee no hot - Staff are kind and attended, they have clean restroom on the third floor. - Many seats and table 1-3rd floor. - Fast service - Price is very affordable, Coffee is really taste good, very creamy , bit of saltiness and coffee taste. - Overall rating is 4.5/5
