June 2025 We ordered several snacks which were delicious. Their homemade calamansi juice was refreshing! Staff were friendly, looks like a family run business. It was packed with locals inside and outside

Vietnamese Street food that doesn’t disappoint. Get the shrimp pastry, spring roll — get it all! But don’t order too much because it is filling. We walked by everyday on the way to our hotel and there was always a crowd. They do close promptly at 9pm, so don’t expect a late bite.
After 3 weeks of Vietnamese food, we got to try some fried Vietnamese delights. Especially tasty were the fried fermented pork (5pcs 30k VND) m, lemongrass pork skewers (15k VND) and crispy shrimp pastry (15k VND). The large spring roll (15k VND) and pillow cake (14k VND) were also good. The savory mochi like stuffed ‘donut’ (9k VND) was a bit oily. Good enough that we went twice during our Hanoi stay. A very must-try local resto, they make very delicious fried rolls, donut & shrimp and sweet potato Fritters with fresh vegetables used with super tasty homemade fish sauces. It’s just nearby the Big Church (St. Joseph's Cathedral) which is at the very center of the Old Quarter areas with beautiful vibes & atmosphere. Come and try Vietnam cuisines and you’ll enjoy to the fullest : )
Loved that the spring rolls and dumplings were fried without being overly oily and were flavourful. The meat bun however were too oily for me and I wished the meat to bread ratio was higher. Also didn’t realised that most of what I ordered had the exact same fillings. If you want to eat more from other shops, I would recommend the spring rolls and dumplings over the others. The shrimp cake too if you haven’t had that dish in other countries/ elsewhere. Didn’t really enjoy the fermented pork despite it being nicely fried. Maybe I’m just too used to the kind I’ve had in my own country.
