El Gaucho Lotte Mall West Lake - Steak house in Hanoi

You see that empty plate I posted. That's what a restaurant wants. Not your selfies, not your food pics, they know what the food looks like and photo says nothing about how it tastes. An empty plate speak volumes. Quality 5, taste 5, price 5(given the imported quality), air conditioning in Hanoi during the summer 10, and not full of posturing self absorbed people a 5. Eat here, you won't regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Gaucho at Lotte Mall West Lake, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The environment was clean and beautifully decorated, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Thank you, El Gaucho team, for a wonderful dining experience! I will definitely be back.

Beautiful atmosphere. The decor, lighting, and music create a fantastic vibe. The service was great; they were attentive, cleared plates promptly, and took my allergies very seriously, which I truly appreciated. That said, I wasn’t offered water for about 10 minutes after being seated, and the restroom is quite far inside the mall, not within the restaurant itself. The food was good (I had the NY steak), but it was served at a temperature that made me feel rushed to eat it. My hot tea was also served in a container that didn’t keep it warm, so it got cold quickly. Overall, a lovely setting with strong service, but a few details could really elevate the experience.
