Habakuk Fine Coffee & Bistro - Cafe in Hanoi

Ordered a signature coffee called the Citrusy Cold Brew on a random, hot afternoon in Hanoi. One sip, and I was enjoying the magical balance of cold brew and citron sweetness. The café is spacious, and you can even watch the craft of your coffee being made if you sit at the bar. By the way, make sure to check out Ra Riêng right next door, they serve beautiful, handmade magnets that are waiting for you to bring home!

My friend and I have visited both Habakuk locations for dinner. The fusion food is really impressive. The menu may not be extensive, but every dish—from starters to mains and desserts—is thoughtfully crafted, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staffs are warm, attentive, and caring, which makes the experience even better. The elegant and tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a date. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food, service, and overall experience makes it well worth it.

Stopped by this lovely cafe and honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. The Cinnabon was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming, and the brownie was super rich. The whole place has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere, you can actually sit down and relax, not just grab and go. Overall, super satisfied. Definitely one of those spots you come back to, not just for the desserts but for the vibe as well.

Habakuk has truly become my happy place in Vietnam. From the moment I walked in, the warmth and professionalism of the staff stood out. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely makes an effort to communicate in English, which I deeply appreciate as a traveler. Their hospitality feels natural and sincere. The food is exceptional. The beef tartare was beautifully prepared, and the duck confit was cooked to perfection — tender, balanced, and deeply satisfying. I especially appreciated their flexibility in accommodating my request to replace the sourdough with pumpkin purée, which elevated the dish even further. Earlier in the day, I had their yogurt bowl for brunch — fresh, clean, and thoughtfully composed. And I keep coming back for their signature iced salt coffee, which is truly one of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. Cozy, relaxed, with great music and a welcoming energy that makes you want to stay longer than planned. It’s easy to see why this place has received Michelin recognition — the level of care, quality, and attention to detail is evident in every part of the experience. Fantastic food at Habakuk, with great ambience and thoughtful plating. The pork ribs were exceptional—rich, flavourful, and very tender. The duck confit was enjoyable as well. The seafood linguine was average in comparison. The berries fusion drink was good too. The staff were polite, attentive, and pleasant throughout the visit. Would be happy to visit again on my next trip to Hanoi.
