The worst experience ever , they took me to a massage room with no Air conditioning. And the place where we are supposed to relax and enjoy turned out the the dirtiest place ever and when I told them that it is dirty they just covered it up with water bucket

Yesterday I had a very good Vietnamese massage. The Therapist (her name is LAN) knew what she was doing and could even touch my traumatized neck (car, snowboarding, horsebackriding) plus I combined it with cupping which I never have done before. Regarding this Lan didn’t extend it to the utmost. She was very careful. Though the massage itself was quite painful, it was a good pain, if that makes sense! 🤪 So, I dearly recommend you a massage with Lan! She is outstanding! 💗🤗
After several days of travelling across Vietnam, we decided to unwind with a foot and leg massage at La Spa 38, and it was exactly what we needed. The ambience was calm, clean, and very relaxing from the moment we entered. What stood out the most was the therapists' technique. They focused on the pressure points with great care, and by the end of the session, all the tiredness from walking around Hanoi seemed to disappear. The massage felt professional, soothing, and never rushed. If you've been exploring Hanoi all day, I'd definitely recommend taking some time out for a session here before continuing your journey or heading home. It was a relaxing way to end our trip and one of the most peaceful experiences we had in the city.
The place looks decent on the outside but inside is very dated. I was ushered to the 3rd floor with one room having 6 massage beds with no privacy at all. Yes they have curtains but imagine seeing other customer being massaged/washing hair. The curtains are only by the side. The front are not covered. It should be covered sides and also front. They improvised the bed by putting another cover over the basin which was use for the hair spa. The amt of bacteria you get from breathing in thru the basin. When the service was done, both the masseur just hang at the table playing with their hp while I was naked and the door is transparent and any customer that come up could literally see me being naked. After done with services, no drinks was served. I did pay gratituty but I can see that most customers are being forced to give tips. They literally ask "can you tip" at the reception counter. The only good thing was they waive off the 8% Vat charge cause I was paying by card and there was already a 5% surcharge. Till today vietnam is a place that still charges surcharge for credit card usages. So do bring loads of cash for foreigners. Some of their services are outsource. Such as Gua Sha and 4 hand massages services. Thank god the gua sha was still legit (I didn't get injured or my skin got allergy or itching) 4 hand massage was not in sync as both are neither from this company and just match along. I would recommend skipping this place, there are loads more to chose from around this area. Ps: they have several outlets. I was confused with la spa 16. This should be the correct outlet. I did not take any photos.
Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Had gone in for a shampoo and body massage session and was heavily disappointed. The massage felt like just oil being spread all over my body with barely any pressure to the correct points, leaving my body still sore. This was after I had requested for my massage to be stronger. As for the hair wash, it felt too rough and unpleasant, due to the roughness and nails. Additionally, the place felt unhygienic and therapist had shamelessly asked for a tip right after the session while we were still getting dressed. They even showed attitude when they felt that the amount tipped was too little. Furthermore, when making payment, there wasn’t enough small change (and there would also be a surcharge for payments made using card) and the receptionist had asked me for various small notes multiple times, after i handed over cash which was more than the payment amount. I ended up still paying more than what I was supposed to as there was still not enough small change to provide. Had just visited a way better spa the day before and the difference was just stark. Not worth the visit.
