Deserves 6 stars, very original place, unique atmosphere, the staff are incredible, and the most important: they are expert at making incredible cocktails. I went a few times and could try 5 different ones in the menu, all incredible balanced and tasty. It’s amazing such places exist
The bar we opened accidentally and visited few times after. Everything here is just perfect - location in the center of old quarter close to the lake, bartenders are so nice and speak English easily, the menu is classic cozy and signature ones, that are so much interesting and unique. And the most interesting that prices here are lower then is other similar bars. Signature cocktails are around 200—280k. Calssic cocktails are 180-250k. Also check for promotions and come to visit this place!
Good folk, lend me thine ears, for I have wandered far and wide through taverns of questionable repute, yet none have stirred my soul quite like Leo’s Tavern. Upon crossing its noble threshold, I was greeted not by the cold embrace of indifference, but by merriment, laughter, and an atmosphere so warm that even the most stubborn raincloud would think twice before lingering. The victuals! By Saint George, the bar snacks alone are worthy of song. Chief among them is a concoction whispered of only in hushed tones—a secret recipe so closely guarded that I suspect even the King himself would be turned away were he to ask. I enquired as to its ingredients and received naught but knowing smiles and mischievous glances. A mystery fit for the ages. Yet the greatest marvel of all was the enchanted popcorn foam. Aye, thou readest correctly—foam of popcorn! It appeared as wizardry, tasted as though the gods themselves had churned butter from the clouds, and vanished from my plate with alarming haste. Were alchemists to discover its making, they would surely abandon the pursuit of gold forever. The ale flowed freely, the company was merry, and every soul within seemed determined that strangers should depart as friends. ’Tis the sort of establishment where one enters intending only a quick respite, only to discover that the moon hath risen and several joyful hours have mysteriously escaped. Should thy travels ever bring thee within reach of Leo’s Tavern, waste not a moment. Hie thee forthwith, sample the legendary secret recipe, pay homage to the miraculous popcorn foam, and prepare thyself for an evening of feasting, fellowship, and enough cheer to sustain thee until thy next pilgrimage.
Like a cocktail bar from an old fairytale. Half apothecary, half Irish pub, half speakeasy, with drinks that are actually both high concept AND delicious. A charming staff and a completely unique space. Obviously a labor of love.
This is a very quirky cocktail bar. If you like unusual places this will certainly tick the box. The cocktails are different from the usual offering but they also do the classics and mixed drinks with a potency! The happy hours are good value and their signature cocktails worth the expense. Most of all though, meet the lovely Trixie, a fairy character and the hostess with the mostest. Positioned in the loveliest of alleyways in Hanoi and with a beautiful altar at the back of the building, the whole experience is a delight. Give it a go and enjoy the music 🧚🏻♀️
