Lãn Ông is one of the Old Quarter's quieter trading streets, historically associated with traditional medicine shops, which makes Little Bowl's presence there an interesting contrast — a modern dessert stop embedded in a lane that hasn't changed much in decades. With 1,273 Google reviews averaging 4.8 stars, it has earned a level of local trust that most Hoan Kiem dessert spots don't reach. The rating suggests consistent execution rather than novelty, which in a neighborhood saturated with tourist-facing cafés and Instagram-optimized interiors is itself a distinction. The clientele likely skews toward locals and returning visitors who know where to find it rather than walk-in foot traffic from Hàng Bạc or Đinh Tiên Hoàng. Hoan Kiem has no shortage of dessert options, but the combination of a specific address tucked into the Old Quarter grid and a rating that holds across a large review count points to a place that delivers reliably. Little Bowl suits an afternoon break after the Temple of Literature or a post-dinner stop near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, when the street quiets and the pace slows.

We had Traditional Mixed Bowl and Yoghurt Drinks with Blueberry Popballs. It’s soooo good I want to cry. Under the crazy heat of Ha Noi, these two desserts instantly refreshed our throat. Not too sweet, not too cold. Just perfect!

An amazing bowl of flavours at The Little Bowl today! I tried the Kem Chè ice cream bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. Packed with creamy ice cream, chewy tapioca, popping pearls, caramel flan, and plenty of sweet treats, every spoonful was full of different textures and flavours. Everything was beautifully balanced and clearly made with love and attention to detail. It's easily one of the best Chè desserts we've found in Hanoi so far. Highly recommended if you're looking for a unique and memorable sweet treat! 😋❤️

First time tried yogurt+jackfruit. It was amazing. Good combination. Got only one staff in a store, then you need to wait for a while to order. But all ok, somehow the dessert is good.

Such a great little dessert store. I visited it many times on my trip to Hanoi with the sweet banana bowl being my fav. Well balanced flavors, not too sweet. Family run business. Highly recommend. Definitely come check this place out!

Tried Little Bowl and it was pretty good. 4/5 👍 It actually reminded me a lot of our 🇵🇭 desserts, especially halo halo. The textures and ingredients feel familiar, like jellies, pearls, and creamy mixes, just presented in a simpler and cleaner way. The taste is enjoyable, though a bit lighter compared to the usual sweetness of Filipino desserts. Still satisfying, especially if you want something not too heavy. Overall, nice dessert spot. Familiar but still worth trying.
