Our stay at Thang Long Opera Hotel has been a wonderful start to our Vietnam journey. We’re here for two nights before heading to Ha Long Bay, and it’s the perfect place to relax and settle in. The location is fantastic—close to the Old Quarter but just far enough away to feel calm and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The beds are especially comfortable, which is always a win when traveling. The staff have been warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, offering great advice and making everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. Breakfast has a lovely variety, with both local and Western options, setting us up nicely for the day. Overall, it’s been a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. A great choice if you’re looking for a well-located hotel with friendly service in Hanoi before continuing your adventure.
Great location. Staff are very friendly. Room was excellent- beg was huge!!! Loved watching the street below from my balcony.
Very good food. Glutenfree was very well arranged. Waitress could easily tell which choices are glutenfree.
We walked past the restaurant and decided to pop in, unplanned. Family of 5 from Australia. Kids 9-14. Everyone found something they liked and costs were very reasonable. Staff exceptional.
