Best vegan/veggie pho I've had. Only open during the week. We ate here 3 times and I would definitely come back. 30,000d a bowl as at May 2026. Cook is a lovely friendly gentleman.

Had this recommended by many people. Serves vegan pho and he invites you with a nod and "today, vegan pho" - which is every day of the week, haha. (weekdays only btw, closed on weekends and 7am to 11am only. Apparently sometimes it gets over by 10am also). I saw many reviews of price being 20k. I think he has increased it now to 30k but still great value for money, healthy and very warm on the throat. The shop is inside an alley but I found it quite easily. There's a board outside as well on the wall. The seating is inside the alley. Gives a true Hanoi experience.
First day in Hanoi and stumbled upon this little gem. Just ask for Pho Chat for vegetarian pho you won't be disappointed. Delicious zesty clear broth noodle soup I will be coming back!
I wanted to have breakfast somewhere local and close by my accommodation. So glad I found this place and ate here. There was only one type of noodle (and dish) available when I visited. The dish of the day was bun doc mung. It was hearty yet the broth tasted simple. Other than the noodles and broth, the dish had mushrooms, coriander leaves, and some greens. Communal table arrangement. Each table had chopsticks, spoons, tissue box, and condiments (chilli paste and chilli in vinegar?). Kind staff. They don't speak English but I managed to ask them what was the name of the dish.
We tried vegetarian Pho at many different spots during our trip through Vietnam, but most of them served quite bland broth. This was the first one we found that was actually packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned! We ended up having breakfast here every single day of our stay in Hanoi. They have a daily rotating menu where they serve a different type of Pho each day—I think it’s a brilliant idea. If you are looking for a delicious vegan meal, I highly recommend this place with peace of mind!
