L'HÔTEL du LAC Hanoi - Hotel in Hanoi

We stayed at L Du Lac Hotel for 3 nights, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was exceptional. The staff deserve a special mention- no matter what time of day or night, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional and always ready to help. Whether it was the reception, in-room service or the kitchen team, the level of service was genuinely 10/10. The morning breakfast was also perfect- excellent variety, fresh, delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it extremely convenient to explore the city. Everything we wanted was within easy reach. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out. Honestly, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. The experience was so good that it has genuinely set the standards too high for our future hotel stays! 😄 A huge thank you to the entire L Du Lac team for making our 3-night stay so memorable. We would absolutely stay here again! 5/5 without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended!

Genuinely had such an amazing stay here. The rooms were clean, ours didn't have a window but that didn't affect our stay. Location was great, located in the center, very close to all the food and the lake. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection wasn't grand but there was new local snacks/sweets that changed daily. Woke up every morning looking forward to the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay such an amazing one.

I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offered welcome drinks and recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try. It made my trip so much easier since I hadn’t planned anything in advance. The room was comfortable, although the soundproofing could be improved. The hotel was under renovation during my stay, so there were occasional unpleasant smells. I also tried the Maison Special Massage for 90 minutes. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I enjoyed the experience, although I found it a little expensive even with the discount. In general it is really a good place to stay! Thanks!

Stayed with mum and I for 3 nights at Hotel Du Lac - great hotel in a great location within old town. Loved the art/decor of the place - and the service from the team was fantastic. They checked in, were friendly, gave great recommendations, helped book restaurants, and even messaged us about something we had left behind and transported it to our next hotel. The only downside in the rooms was the size - they were a little small to comfortably fit/open 2 suitcases. We loved watching the streetscape from the balcony and being able to walk so easily to the lake. Breakfast here was also fab! Thanks for a great stay!

Highly recommend Hotel du Lac for your Hanoi Stay! We absolutely loved it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room is quiet, safe and dark and feels like an oasis out of the busy city. Don’t worry about no view- not necessary in Hanoi. The lake is two blocks away and makes for a very peaceful morning stroll. All the popular spots are very close by. We loved staying here and would recommend any friend or family to also stay here! 5 Stars!
