Dream Beans Coffee is directly opposite Hotel de Lagom, so my wife and I were tempted. Upon entering the cafe the staff were very welcoming and the place was very nice and clean and the atmosphere felt really inviting. We ordered a Vietnamese egg coffee and a mango smoothie. Both were delicious! If you want to see how an egg coffee is made, come to this place and the barista will show you how it’s expertly prepared from scratch! Highly recommend the place! The staff were awesome!
I came here during peak summer, based on good reviews on Google maps. Turns out to be one of the best cafes in Hanoi. I've ordered a phin coffee, the staff invited me over to witness the brewing, explained the history and technicalities of being using phin. I didn't expect to learn so much. Vietnamese coffee was used, medium roast, slightly coarse grind. The result was acidic, hint of flora/fruity taste, and bittersweet aftertaste. Very unique. I also had the coconut coffee, basically it's ice blended coconut milk in, not just 1, but 2 shots of espresso. Best drink to have in hot summer.
One of the best coffee places we had in Hanoi. The beans quality and selection are so great, you can feel their passion about coffee. Yogurt coffee is absolutely delicious. Also have freshly roasted whole coffee beans from local farms. If you are looking for good quality Vietnamese coffee that are not commercialised or touris trap, this is the perfect place. The baristas are also very helpful.
I had a great time at Dream Beans Coffee. The staff kindly warned me that it might be a bit crowded upstairs, but it was actually completely fine and very comfortable. The service is incredibly friendly, and their fluent English made everything so easy. I received an excellent coffee recommendation (went with a local Da Lat V60), and the coffee preparation was highly professional. On top of the perfect coffee, their pastries and cakes are absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier coffee shop in Vietnam!
Well decorated. The seat was comfortable. Nice atmosphere. I had their coconut coffee and it was really good! The best thing was their great service. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely come back here to try their other coffee menu. Highly recommended!
